Cole Swindell (born June 30) is an American country music songwriter and artist, who is known for his 2013 breakout hit “Chillin’ It,” whose official music video debuted on November 10, 2013. He wrote Craig Campbell’s “Outta My Head,” Luke Bryan’s “Just a Sip,” “Beer in the Headlights,” “Roller Coaster” and “Out Like That,” Thomas Rhett’s “Get Me Some of That,” Scotty McCreery’s “Water Tower Town” and “Carolina Eyes (formerly known as Alabama Eyes).”
Swindell, who is from Bronwood, Georgia, and was a member of Sigma Chi at Georgia Southern University, is signed to Warner Music Nashville and will release his debut album in early 2014. He is also scheduled, along with Lee Brice, to open Luke Bryan’s 2014 That’s My Kind of Night tour. The announced tour dates begin in the middle of January and run through the beginning of March.
